Namugonza Maureen Peace best known as Ava Peace,
is a rising Ugandan recording female artiste. She categorizes her music to fall
amongst the Afro-beat, Dancehall and R&B genres. She was born on 13th
January 2000 at Mengo hospital to Mr. Kato Gonzaga and Ms. Christine Nakamatte.
She is one of six children born to the couple.
The family spent most of their early years in
Kyengera, a Kampala suburb. Peace started singing professionally this year and
she seems to have found footing with the first step as her new song titled
‘Nsitula’, featuring Spice Diana and Daddy Andre, is becoming a regular on most
playlists.
She is currently signed to Black Market Records
who are also fully managing her fast growing music career. Peace has already
set foot in the industry with a new single titled ‘Nsitula’ featuring Spice
Diana and Daddy Andre.
